neuschawnstein castle number of stairs

I don't know the number but it stood out to me as being more than any other place I've been sightseeing. And I didn't think it was worth it-it's a palace, not a castle, and I've seen better palaces elsewhere.

Is this a question, a trivia contest or a guessing game?

During the tour of Neuschwanstein Castle, a total of approx. 180 stairs must be climbed (and walk back down again).

Btw, this is one of those places that, IMO, is better seen from the outside than the inside.

Agree. Very disappointed on the interior. However, there are some great views from the inside at the top.
