Need details about Airport Lockers at Stuttgart (STR)

Wife and I are planning a trip with Stuttgart airport as our starting and return point. Without going into lots of details, my question is about airport lockers at Stuttgart. If we needed to leave a suitcase in a locker there (medium size and larger than carry on), how long can it be stored there and how would we pay for it? I can't believe that we can just pay a couple of Euros, walk away with a key, and leave it there for 2 weeks.

Second question - when traveling with just light carry on which will have to go through security with me, what things are normal toiletries like shaving cream, toothpaste, deodorant, etc permitted?

If you are flying anywhere, if it is in your carry-on, and it is any sort of gel, paste, cream or liquid (can you squeeze or pour it) the container - regardless of how much is inside - must be no larger than 100 ml and all containers have to fit inside one 3-1-1 bag.

Broadly speaking, if it is allowed through TSA security - your profile gives no clue where you are traveling from so I am guessing for context with US illustration - before you fly overseas it will be allowed through security at a European airport.

All the normal toiletries you mention are readily available here. In fact instead of buying my toothpaste in the UK I prefer a Swiss supermarket one which I stock up on when I pass through Switzerland. Nice big sizes too.

I am not sure about Stuttgart, but usually airports do not have lockers. They have places where you can leave your luggage after it goes through an x-ray machine, at a hefty price per day - Frankfurt is 8€ per 24 hours and you can leave it there for quite a while. Check the airport website.

Either bring your things with you or if you are staying in a hotel, book it for your arrival day and departure day and they will usually hold your excess luggage for you, often for free.

There are lockers at the Stuttgart Hbf in town (also an S-Bahn bahnhof), on the main hall near the North exit (Nordausgang).

All train stations have lockers, but you cannot use them for weeks at a time.

At Stuttgart Airport you will find lockers on the right side of Terminal 1, behind the guard house (German: Wache).
You can pay with coins, banknotes (5 & 10 €) and credit cards (Visa & Master).
Small 2€, medium 4€, large & XL 6€ (all per day).
