Hi, in all of my research/planning for our June trip, I have been able to work out all of our transportation around Germany, whether it is train or bus, but I am stumped on this one. Need to get 4 of us from Fussen back to Heidelberg. (We will take the train from Heidelberg to Munich, then to Fussen then need to go back to Heidelberg.) Help would be greatly appreciated figuring this out. I know we will probably need to take a bus and the train just not sure what lines. Thanks for the help.

Is there some reason you can't take the train from Füssen back to Heidelberg? For example, there's a departure from Füssen at 09:05 on the current schedules, arriving at Heidelberg at 14:44 (time 5H:39M, one change in Augsburg). That's the method I'd use.
I assume you've checked the German rail website - https://www.bahn.com/en/view/index.shtml . If you wish to buy advance tickets, you can do that on the rail website or from www.trainline.eu which sells tickets at the same prices as the rail network.
