Munich Walking Tours

Hi,

I am booked on a tour in September and find myself with an extra Saturday day in Munich. Looking at the guidebook I see there are Munich Walking Tours available at a reasonable price. The two I am looking at are the Bavarian Food Tasting & Viktualienmarkt, and the Beer & Brewery Tour. One starts at 11:30 AM and the other at 6:15 PM.

Has anyone done these? How reasonable would it be to do both in the same day?

We used a company called Bayern Trips and learned a lot of history along with seeing most of old town Munich....they offer half day or full day tours. Excellent tour and I recommend them highly.

There is one at platform 21 in the main train station. I used it for citytours. They were good.

I think you mean the above mentioned Radius tours opposite track 33 (in the so called Starnberger Bahnhof). Opposite track 21 there are the DB ticket center and the international bookstore.
