Munich Tour Guides

Hi Liz, would highly recommend Franz Schega, who was our local guide during 2015 RS Tour stopover in Munich. Excellent knowledge of his city (native, lifelong resident), with a genuine passion for helping others understand Bavarian culture, castles, art, beer and history. A friend and I used Stefan Biro, who is on the Tours by Locals website. He was excellent -- very interested in helping us understand the history of Munich.

We have used Taff Simon from Dark History tours twice. This is one of the most passionate guides you will find and he carries around loads of artifacts to hold, everything from armor, swords, pottery, gas masks and more, depending on what kind of a tour you are interested in doing. We did Munich, Regensburg and Dachau with him. He goes above and beyond what you might expect in a guide.
