Hello, all! My husband and were in Munich early May 2025. We took a direct ICE train to Augsburg, Ubered to Enterprise Rental and drove to Rothenberg from there and back. It worked really well for us. I imagine parking there might be more challenging during peak season. Just a thought. Happy travels!
