Any suggestions on the best way to get from Munich City Center to the port in Regensburg where our river cruise departs? We are staying close to the Haupt Bahnhof. This will be on a Sunday, September 29, 2019 ( Yes, in the middle of Octoberfest) and we can arrive anytime after 2 PM. Thank-you

There is a direct regional train every hour at 43 (or 44) past the hour. If there are 2 of you, cost is 32 EUR with a Bayern Ticket. Takes about 1 1/2 hours. You can buy ticket out of a ticket vending machine at the station. Save you 2 EUR from buy at the window.
