In Munich, I only have time for one chamber concert and I'm having a difficult time deciding if I attend one in the Residenz-Seranade or in Max Joseph Sal. Has anyone been to both locations, and can you tell me how they compare for acoustics, atmosphere, etc.? Thanks!
The Residenz Serenade takes place in the Residenz Chapel (not open to the public). The atmosphere there is much nicer than in the Max-Joseph-Saal.
The program content would be a deciding factor .
I have a question about the Residenz Serenade. Where can I find a schedule for concerts and buy tickets?
I'll be there May 18 (Thurs) and May 19 (Fri).
Are there other places for music?
Not too ,many choices , as you are bumping into the end of the season , but The Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra at The Isarphilharmonic on both your dates doing Mahler 7 https://www.br-so.com/daniel-harding-11-p48682/ look here for The Rezidenz Serenade programs - https://www.residenzkonzerte-muenchen.de/
I used this site to buy my tickets. As said, the season is at the end so there are limited choices. https://www.muenchenticket.de/tickets
