We're scheduled to be in Munich on Easter Sunday. We have less than 24 hours in the city and it happens to be on Easter Sunday, April 16. Will the entire city be shut down or will some things still be open? Just want to know what to expect so we can plan accordingly. I'm really hoping that at least the beer halls will be open :)

Shops will be closed (apart from minor ones in the station). Beer halls never close down.

If the weather is nice and sunny head to the Englischer Garten. The Biergartens should be open.
