opinions, please, on Lehel, Hotel Splendid Dollman, or Viktualienmarkt at Hotel Bauer Bock? Usually stay at Hotel Torbrau, and just looking to try something different. Love to be close to the fun. I am taking a friend who has never been to Europe, so just want us to be in a good spot. Thanks

The Hotel Torbrau in which you've already stayed is one of the best in Munich and is very centrally located in the Old City as well. If you've got the money to stay there then why go any place else?

We stayed at the Hotel Blauer Bock, though it was a few years ago. Excellent location. Good staff and breakfast. At that time the elevator was slow and iffy. That may have been fixed.

Torbrau is one of the few hotels in Munich that actually has Air Condition...can be an important amenity on a very warm summer day.

I loved the Blauer Bock when we stayed there in October 2015. With that said, I wanted to stay at the Torbrau, but it was out of our price range.
