Munich Hotel Recommendations

I'll be traveling to Munich --> Vienna --> Prague --> Budapest --> Krakow --> Warsaw

Does anyone have recommendations for a hotel in Munich? I'm looking for something relatively reasonable (3-4 star level) that hopefully will include breakfast. I'll be flying into Munich, but will be taking a train to my subsequent destinations. These are some of the sights I have planned:

Walk the Marienplatz
Altstadt (Old Town)
Viktualienmarkt
Munich Residenz
Eisbachwelle
English Garden

My recommendation are Motel One with various locations. Comfy, reasonable rates and a decent bfast buffet.

We have used the Eurostar hotels in Munich and their breakfasts are great. They are also reasonably close to the central train station.

I use the Holiday Inn Express Munich West. Located at the Hirsch Garten S-Bahn stop (2 stops from Hbf, 3 from Marienplatz). It includes breakfast in the room rate, which I think is your question.
