Any suggestions for a hotel close to the Munich airport? We have a very early morning flight.

Best Western in Erding has a shuttle service to the airport und is in walking distance to the very nice spa Erding Therme.

We have stayed at (and can recommend) the Kempinski which is now the Hilton. Cant get any closer or more convenient, particularly if you are getting up early to catch a flight home.

The bar and the restaurant at the Hilton Airport hotel are both very good.

If you want to avoid the price of a hotel right at the airport, there are a number of hotels within walking distance of the Bahnhof at Freising. The bus from Freising Bahnhof to the airport leaves every 20 minutes, starting at 4:05, and takes 19 minutes. Cost: 2,80€/adult.

We also liked the Best Western Park Hotel in Erding. We got to the airport at 5:30am. They had a small but nice breakfast buffet out for us starting at 4am. We also liked Erding a lot.
