We are trying to decide between the Platzl and Eden Hotel Wolff this summer (2024). Is there still construction going on around the Munich Hauptbahnhof which might make it noisy or result in inconvenient access to the Eden Hotel Wolff? Is the neighborhood a bit seedy on the north side (as opposed to the south side) of the Hauptbahnhof near EHW? Any other thoughts on the Platzl vs. Eden Hotel Wolff are welcome. We are aware of the respective costs and location of each hotel. Thank you in advance.

Yes and yes. It's even a little worse than last year because the focus of the work is now shifting from underground to the station building.
