You know any private drivers?
You could take a taxi if you don't like public transportation.
We stayed here for 3 nights:

Hotel Schlicker might suit your purpose. Great location a stones throw from Marienplatz.
We did Dachau on our way into Munich while we still had a rental car, dropping it off after we dropped luggage at hotel.
Take a look at Hotel Lux. We stayed there last December and absolutely loved it! Very central, wonderful room/comfy beds, cooked to order breakfast, and wonderful place for a nightcap.
Roomers in Munich would be an option:

And for private guide I recently had Bodo who was excellent:

We are currently in Munich and staying at Hotel Concorde. Easy walk to Marienplatz and major sites. The front desk staff has been very friendly and whatever room I booked includes breakfast.
