Munich, Fussen, Salzburg

Advice wanted:
2 adults and elderly parent traveling.
Flying into Munich going straight to Fussen then Salzburg and back to Munich.

Right now we have 7 nights total to split between the 3 cities. We have Munich booked for the last 2 nights. Since we are traveling with my father who is elderly and mobile, but not adventurous, we are thinking about enjoying the cities at a leisurely pace. How would you split the remaining 5 nights between Fussen and Salzburg?

You can do an itinerary like this:

FUSSEN - 2 nights

SALZBURG - 3 nights

MUNICH - 2 nights

Depending on when you would get to and leave Fussen, I would consider 1 night in Fussen and add a night to Munich

What RJean said. ^^^

There’s not much to Fussen besides great access to the castles, 2 nights is just right. Salzburg is all leisurely enjoyment with a terrific easygoing atmosphere. 3 nights is good there. However, Munich has a lot to see. You may want that extra day in Munich, but I think that’s purely based on sightseeing interests.

I really enjoyed the local museum in Fussen.

If you are just going to Füssen to visit the castles, then why not just stop there on the way to Salzburg?
