We are traveling to Munich December 25th for a couple of days. Are there restaurants open December 25, 2024? Also are shops/tourist attractions open December 26/27th? Any recommendations on nice place for dinner December 25th?

The 25th and 26th of DEC are German holidays. Little, if anything, will be open. In Munich you should find some places to eat, and possibly the major tourist spots, but you'll have to check. If they are staffed by the State they will be closed. Public Transport is likewise going to be very restricted. The Christmas markets will be closed.
I seriously recommend you start looking at the websites for the various restaurants and groups like Michelin, looking to see what will be open.
