Hi! We (family of 4) will be in Munich in June for 3 days, then take a train to Salzburg area and then a week later to Vienna. Is it worth to buy Munich city card or pass? Do you really save money on transportation (including trains) and museums with them? If yes, then which one ? And do we need one for each of us (2 adults + 15 y.o. + 18 y.o). We are planning to go by train to Neuschwanstein Castle. Thank you!

The Bayern Ticket will get you from Munich to Salzburg, and the group ticket covers up to 5 persons, not expensive.

By the time you travel the Deutschelandticket migh be available... one month of unlimited travel (non DBahn) for 49 Euro.
