Munich Bed and Breakfasts or Hotels

I did a search for Bed and Breakfasts in Munich and did not find many posts that weren't 4 years old or older. Many of the links to web pages were broken. We are arriving at the airport and willing to stay anywhere in town that can be reached reasonably easy by bus/train. Any current suggestions for lodging options for 4 in Munich?

The one B&B we did find, Pinsion Lindner, is booked when we are wanting to stay nights of (7/10 - 7/11). We found a great B&B in Salzburg, Haus am Moos for 110 Euros/night for my family of 4, from 7/12 - 7/15 and are hoping to find a similar deal in Munich.

Hotel Uhland. We had a great stay in September. Close to metro.

Do you want to stay near the Trains Station - then Hotel Uhland seems to be a popular choice. Want to stay near the Marientplatz/Viktualienmarkt then have a look at Hotel am Viktualienmarkt, Hotel Blauer Bock or more luxurious choices are the Platzl Hotel and the Hotel Torbrau both of which have air conditioning.

The Hotel am Viktualienmarkt has rooms big enough to accomodate 5.

I've contacted the Hotel Uhland and will also look into the others mentioned. Many thanks!

Also, if you look at something like booking.com there will be a pictograph showing maximum number of people for that room at that price (same room with two breakfasts costs more than with one)

jamescoste: You are correct.

Single Room = 1 bed for 1 person
Twin Room = 2 small beds for 2 persons
Triple = sleep spaces for 3 persons
Quad = 4 persons
Quint = 5 persons
etc.

I personally love the Hotel Viktualienmarkt. Their nice included breakfast along with their position very near to the Viktualienmarkt is ideal. We've stayed there many times. We've also stayed at the Hotel Platzl which was quite nice and posh - but they definitely do NOT have a room for 4 persons.

Hi,

Decide first in which area you prefer to stay. Munich offers various levels of luxury in different parts/districts of the city. I stay in the train station area in a Pension, which so far has not been booked up whenever I have wanted to reserve a single (EZ) at 43 Euro there. If you want 4-5 star luxury hotels, they are also in the Hbf area. The station area has numerous two star hotels and Pensionen on Schillerstrasse and Goethestrasse.

Hi, this is really nice offer, I am from Australia and looking for such a deal for my recent plan of holidays in this summer. Could I also get coverlets in the hotel room?
