Hi,
Has anyone stayed at the H2 Hotel München Olympiapark in Munich?
And, any recommendations what we can do there for two days without a car?
Thank you!

Any particular reason you are looking here ? This part of Munich is remote and fairly devoid of the sites of interest that are located in more central parts of the city . The U3 U Bahn ( metro line ) is a block away , so that would take you into town easily . In any event , a car in a large city like Munich , is a useless headache . Mass transit is ubiquitous and runs like a Swiss , or in this case German , finely tuned machine .
Hi Mary- 2 days in Munich without a car-
Even if you had a car I would suggest you park it and use the very good U-Bahn and S-bahn to get around for 2 days.
You didn't specify your interests so I took a shot and left out 2 very good museums.
Of course you should spend some time exploring the Olympiapark since you are staying there. Then if the weather is good, I would recommend that you take a walking tour of the MarienPlatz and the nearby Viktaulien markt. I used a waking tour from one of Rick's travel books many years ago.. The FrauenKirche and the Asam mini-Krche are both close by. Of course the famous HofbrauHaus is only a few blocks east of the MarianPlatz.
A little further out is the Englisher Garten and Schloss NymphenBurg . If the weather is bad, the Deutshes Museum is full of technology.
Others will probably give you their own picks which include many other sites to visit. But you only have 2 days and that is barely enough time to scratch the surface of Munich.
Have a great trip!!!
