Munich and early flight departures.

So four out of my five travelers have booked airline tickets, We are all leaving Munich either at 7:05 am or 10:00 am (2 are using AA points and two flying Delta) and one hasn't quite decided. So as the planner in the group, I need help in deciding how to actually get to the airport on time. My plan is 3N Munich, 3N Salzburg, and 3N Garmisch, With flights this early, I would prefer to be a little closer to the airport than having our last night in Garmisch. I thought about taking the train in the early evening back towards the airport. Staying somewhere within a short train or taxi ride to the airport. Any suggestions or recommendations?

As some need to be at the airport at 4am and others 7am, you need to stay right at the airport. I wouldn’t want to rely on taxis or trains at that hour. There’s a Novotel at the airport.

There are a number of reasonably priced accommodations close to the Munich Airport. There's a Novotel and Hilton in the property too.
