We will be arriving in Munich from the US in the morning on a United flight, and then connecting to a Lufthansa flight to Rome. I'd love to look forward to a hot breakfast in a full-service restaurant in the terminal. A few months ago someone posted, regarding a Munich airport layover:
Stay at the airport. The restaurant there has some of the best beer, food and service in the Munich area. Take advantage of it!
Does anyone know what restaurant this is, or have other suggestions for a good restaurant?

not a helpful comment but a comment nonetheless. looks like you don't have access to the Lufthansa lounge in Munich... but it was awesome. not only the food and beer but the building and ambience.
i remember reading about Munich airport options somewhere here - try a forum search

Don’t know about their breakfast options but I had a wonderful meal at Airbrau.

They were probably talking about Airbräu. It's outside security but worth a stop if you have time.

It was during the holidays. We passed security, entered the courtyard occupied by the Christmas market. After passing through the market center it was slightly to the right. Sorry but that's the best I can recall for you.
