Munich Airport Layover

I'll be at the airport for a 4 hour layover. What are some "must sees" inside the airport? We have stayed in Munich before and been through this airport, even staying at the Hilton on site once but we have never had a long layover there. We aren't interested in trying to leave the airport but, if there are some good shops or restaurants, I'd like to make the most of our time there. Thanks.

I was there twice last summer (and several times in previous years) on the way to/from Florence for about 4 some hours. There are several decent eateries and bars, so I'm sure 4 hours will fly by. The airport is easy to navigate and the time for the terminal/gate transfer was not long in spite of involving a short people mover ride to the smaller satellite terminal (at MUC there is, from West to East, Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and the new smaller T2-Satellite across the tarmac which must be reached via underground people mover). The Satellite 2T has fewer options as the food court there is smaller. I tried both since I like to be at the terminal where my flight departs from, and the flight to FLR operates out of the satellite, while the US flights operate out of the larger terminals (I think T2).

The airport is more like a train station, you don't have to go past security to have access to a ton of eating and shopping opportunities. It had one of the nicest supermarkets I've ever seen anywhere! Lots of food souvenirs there too. And there's a funky little restaurant just outside the door that looks like an airplane that sells wurst, next to a beer garden.

You could also hang out in the Hilton lobby for free, or buy a drink or have a meal (the restaurant is quite good). Perhaps you could rent a dayroom? Apparently they have a nice spa as well.
