Traveling to Italy next month and have short 1 hr 10 minute connection in Munich. Concerned about EES. Anyone have recent experience with EES in Munich and if there is any short connection help.

My experience in late May could not have been easier, I was through the kiosk in mere minutes. It seems to have gotten worse over the summer, but in September I would not be overly worried—though an hour is tight even before EES. That said, I would not change it but just look over the airport map in advance, choose an upfront seat on the incoming plane if possible to expedite deplaning, and just be very deliberate in your movements. I have heard that some airports add lines for flights that are within the hour (something like that), so keep an eye out. Not sure if they have that at Munich.

Thanks…..Lufthansa ticketed this through so hopefully will work out.
