We will be in Munich October 16-22. I am looking for an Airbnb that is a reasonable price, need to be walking distance to the Ubahn though. Any suggestions on areas or towns to look at?

Bogenhausen is a nice residential area just east of the centre.

As cheap as possible with still having a nice place, I’m thinking the end of the ubahn might be cheaper than down town. I would like to get a two bedroom for under $900

I don't think you'll have much luck with that, for a two bedroom.
The place I linked to has been on the market for a few years, with very good reviews. 147 euros a night for four adults ain't half bad.

Gundersen, I went to that apt you linked and for the 6 nights in Oct for 4 people it was over $1100. Not sure where you saw $147/night. I think that might have been for 2 people? Either way I think the OP needs to up the budget a little.
