I have purchased a "D-Ticket" covering the month of December for train travel in Germany. Due to other circumstances, I find I will actually arrive in Germany on 27 Dec. I will need a train ticket for those 4 days. Is there some multi-day train ticket available in Germany that I could purchase?

There are day passes you can buy for regional transport. Within some transport associations, there are multi-day tickets you can get too. But the D-Ticket is the most reasonably-priced option for 4 days of unlimited regional travel around the whole country. There's nothing that competes with it for €16/day.
Did you maybe mean that you arrive November 27?
If so, then it really would depend what you are doing in those four days, as well as whether you are by yourself, a couple, or more.
As the previous poster mentioned, the D-ticket is still cheap for four days of travel, I have done this, and it paid for itself over buying individual tickets. There are regional day passes, but they can be pricey by comparison for one person.
I listened to Russ and bought a November D-Ticket.
