I'm planning a day trip in June from Boppard to Cologne. I read on these boards that Melaten Cemetary is a recommended stop in Cologne, but I can't figure out what bus stop to get me there. I'll be traveling with the D-ticket. On the Cologne tourism website, when I click on getting there by car or by public transportation, it always starts with me in the US and indicates it's not possible. The DBB app has more than one option for Melaten. Maybe it's Friedhof Melaten?

Take the No 1 or No 7 tram from Heumarkt and get off at Melaten.

I recommend to use KVB journey planner for the local Cologne part of journey. https://www.kvb.koeln/en
Choose "Friedhof Melaten" as destination.
There are various entries to the cemetery from various streets. See the red on white map on the cemetery website. in the text below "Anreise" you will find the descriptions how to use the different gates.
Use DeepL for best translation from / to German.

Thank you both, these were very helpful. For some reason I can search the DB app for a route today, but when I look at June 20 it gives me a message that no train services were found. I guess I'll try adding it to "my trips" in the app once I get closer to the date. And now I actually know what stop to use. Thanks again.

Hoping this gets noticed since it's a new topic. Since it's best to use the KVB app when in Cologne, I'm thinking I should use city apps for the other cities I'm staying in, instead of trying to rely on DB.
Does someone have the name and/or link to website for the following cities:
Munich
Salzburg
Frankfurt
I'm staying in Boppard too, but I'm guessing there isn't a city app for that since it's mostly trains to other locations.
