On our travel day from Meersburg on Lake Constance (Bodensee) to Wengen, Switzerland, we would like to visit Mainau. We were thinking we could just travel via boat to Mainau, then via boat again to the Konstanz/Constance train station for our trip to Wengen. We are getting a swiss "saver day pass" for that day's travel. We will also have a swiss Halffare card. We (my husband and I) are travelling in mid-August! More info, if helpful, we will be arriving in Lindau on a Friday, and going to Meersburg on a Monday, and travelling to Wengen on Wednesday.
Question 1: Is the swiss saver day pass any good for travel from Meersburg to Wengen, with a stopover in Mainau? We are considering getting the 3day bodensee pass as well.
Question 2: Is there anywhere to store luggage on the Mainau island? If not, any suggestions on what to do with our luggage, or how to alter our trip to have somewhere to store our luggage?
