Masks

Asking about May the first week of Feb. is almost useless. They change the rules here on a weekly basis, and the different states (there are 16) in Germany have different rules too, from each other.
Wait and ask again at the beginning or middle of April.

There are no shortages of masks here or anything else. I would not order masks ahead of time, nor schlepp them with me. Maybe one or two for the first day, but then get some at any grocery store, drug store, or pharmacy. Even gas stations have them.

I agree with Ms. Jo about waiting but your KN95s should be fine. Most places I've seen online state that it must be a medical mask, which KN95s qualify. But again, as Ms. Joe said, things will undoubtedly change before the end of May. It may be that masks will not even be required by that point.

Thanks. I ask now because with supply chains what they are waiting until April to ask might be too late if I needed to order them. Good to know they are readily available there.
