Martinsgans

Had a quarter today with Knödel and Blaukraut. Top old Mühle restaurant with a Butcher as the cook and owner. Perfect dinner. The Blaukraut was so good and sweet it could have had a some vanilla ice with. Was really good. Bird flu is driving up prices. Euro 30 for my dinner. Frau had a big Trout Müllerin for euro 20. Church festival time/Kirwa. Eat the seasonal and local food. Enjoy the Fest. When you know where you are visiting ask the locals/tourist info for what is going on. Don't miss the good parts.

A good Martinsgans is a real great food experience. In the North they also serve Grünkohl as vegetable side dish.

In Berlin restaurant Scheune near S-Bahn station Grunewald is a great choice.
