Hotel suggestions/recommendations for Luxembourg City for September?
Planning on staying there a few days before heading to Trier for the GAS tour.

JHF-We did the same thing when we took the GAS tour in June of 2013. We stayed at the Hotel Carlton right in Luxembourg City, https://carlton.lu/en.html. I don't remember the cost, although I do remember it was located a few blocks from the train station and a short walk to the Grund. The room was clean and the breakfast was pretty good. It was very easy to get train tickets to Trier, no need to buy them ahead of time. It's a commuter train and runs almost every hour.
The tour is fantastic! You'll enjoy it.
