Lunch outside Munich

We are driving from Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic to Neuschwanstein, Germany in August. We want to stop at Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial on the way but is there a town where we should stop for lunch along the drive either before, in, or after Dachau? I would like to eat in a traditional German restaurant that isn't super touristy and has more of a local feel. A nice town along the drive or even something in Dachau would be fine.
Thank you!

If you want to eat in Dachau, the Schwarzberhof Hotel Restaurant is a nice place to stop for a lunch. www.schwarzberghof.eu/restaurant It is at the inn. The dining area is so pretty and cheerful (you'll need that after visiting the concentration camp), the people are nice and they serve fresh, delicious German food. Nothing touristy here and you'll meet plenty of Germans.

Exit the Autobahn when you're hungry and head to the nearest sizable town. Drive through and you'll see at least one restaurant in practically every town.

Or, if you don't want to leave the Autobahn, the rest stops usually have surprisingly good food, served cafeteria-style.

Yes we love the "Auto-Grilles" or whatever they're called now. We stopped in several countries and had some great food.
