Hello!
Bottom line: Traveling via DB train from Nurnberg to Dresden stopping @ Leipzig for 6 hours to visit the Christmas Markets. The Leipzig Hbf, does offers official luggage storage facilities, I would like to know the "sizes of the lockers" and if it that could accommodate a large backpack (24"x18"x6"). I really do not want to walk around carrying this heavy backpack!
Sizes? Cost? CC or cash? thanks everybody!

According to this web page your bag should fit into the largest locker (42x60x90 cm). You can pay with CC.

And if there is a bit of softness to the 24" dimension, it will fit in the medium size locker saving you 1.50 EUR.
