I am taking the train from Frankfurt to Hamburg for 3 days and then returning to Frankfurt. I would like to leave my large luggage in a locker for 3 days and only take a small backpack. Are lockers available for this purpose?
There are lockers in the station. If I remember correctly, you need coins to pay for them. However, I only used a locker for a few hours - not sure if you can leave things long-term.
The maximum is usually 72 hours for the lockers. You pay for the first 24 hours up front (in coins) and for the rest when picking up the luggage. Not sure if there is also a staffed left luggage office.
The manned left-luggage office is in the main hall near the flower shop. Is has, however, rather limited opening hours, viz. 6:30-19:30.
Thanks for your quick replies. So looking forward to my upcoming trip.
WE LEFT OUR LUGGAGE AT A MANNED STATION BY THE MAIN ENTRANCE (A BIT HIDDEN THOUGH) LAST YEAR FOR 8 HOURS, BUT I BELIEVE YOU CAN LEAVE OVERNIGHT TOO.
Your "caps lock" key appears to be stuck on.
