Luggage Lockers in Koblenz Hbf

(my original post seems to have disappeared so I'm re-posting).

The official Deutsche Bahn website ( https://www.bahnhof.de/koblenz-hbf/schliessfaecher ) tells me that there are good sized storage lockers in the Koblenz station; two sizes (24 × 42 × 76 cm and 44 × 61 × 91 cm, suitable for large cases), well priced.

So the only question is, are they likely to be available at around noon time on a Monday in October (Oct 6)? I do see that there are additional lockers at the nearby Forum Mittelrhein location (https://www.forum-mittelrhein.com/services/schliessfaecher-s17089/?location=p480-10008 ), though they don't give dimensions, only saying 'suitable for rucksacks and handbags'. I'm thinking 'rucksacks' can be pretty big!

We had great success using the lockers in Zurich train station a few months ago, so we really appreciate this convenience.

No experience with the Forum. I've used lockers at Koblenz a few times over the years and never had problems. AFAIK there's nothing special about October 6.

Note October 3rd is a National Holiday in Germany. Plan accordingly.

OMG! I had no idea! Thanks for the info. We do have a dinner reservation for that day already, and I think everything we need will be open, but great to know. We will certainly pick up a few sundries at the airport or train station in anticipation!

We learned earlier this year in Switzerland that Sundays are taken relatively seriously by the population. The train stations are a life-saver, though.

I am thinking they may be on the small side. Rucksack, aka backpack.

I just used the ones at the station recently. There are fewer of the very large ones, but we had no trouble getting two at a very sunny lunchtime on a Friday.

Looking from the main entrance, there are lockers in the back to the right, as well as at the base of the stairs to several platforms as you head towards the platforms, veering slightly to the left.
Do note that - very much unlike the fancy set-up in Zurich - they are coin and key only.

BTW, the main (Rewe) convenience store in Koblenz station is a rather peculiar, unstaffed and card-only establishment with an eccentric selection (e.g. no milk when we looked) so I definitely wouldn't rely on it!

And the Forum lockers are more daypack than suitcase sized (and won't be open on a public holiday or Sunday). We walked past them while using the facilities and I think the main target group is overenthusiastic shoppers more than travellers.
