The following only affects 1st. Class Travelers:
- Fares go up 3%
- but WiFi is free (again, in 1st class only) and
- seat reservations are free
The bad news for all travelers, regardless of service class:
- A service fee for payments with credit cards
- and PayPal of €3 is introduced.

If one can afford to travel to Europe, such a small service fee for CC or PayPal doesn't sound unfair.

Munich (MVV) has posted their fares for next year.
Single trip tickets remain 2,60€ per zone.
Tageskarten are going up a little.
Inner zone:
Single, 6,00 to 6,20
Partner 11,20 to 11,70
XXL (inner two zones, for Dachau):
Single, 8,10 to 8,30
Partner 14,20 to 14,80
Gesamtnetz (to/from airport)
Single, 11,70 to 12,00
Partner 21,30 to 22,30
I haven't seen anything yet on the Bayern-Ticket (or other Länder-Tickets).
