We're hoping to go on river tours in Berlin and in Munich, ideally ones that point out interesting architecture and neighborhoods. Do you have any suggestions?
We're also looking for ideas of areas in Berlin and in Munich where we can walk around and try local street food or experience food markets.

Berlin- there are boat rides that go past all the new architecture, interesting. We just walked up and bought a ticket, walked onboard.
Street food: Curry Wurst!! It is a very popular street food.We saw it everywhere. We stayed in the area near the Brandenburg Gate.

We booked the evening river cruise and did it our first night in Berlin. It was beautiful to see the city from the water and lit up. There are multiple tour options, so you can pick the one that fits what you want.
