Looking for Rick Steves' tv show on Germany

We are planning a trip back to Paris this fall. I'm trying to find the RS tv series about taking the train from Paris to Germany for a day trip. I want to say the town is Luxembourg. This series talked about the wine and that all I can remember. If anyone recalls the tv series, I would appreciate it very much. I looked at his side trips from Paris, but that wasn't the one.

I've seen all the RS videos, and don't remember any that cover going from Paris to Germany for a day trip. There is an episode that travels from Amsterdam to the Rhine, but that wasn't for a day trip. On that trip, Rick stops in Cologne for a look around before continuing. This is the episode.....

Just to clarify, Luxembourg is a country and not a city.

It's possible to do something like this, but I'm pretty sure Rick didn't recommend it.

Aachen is a really nice and often-overlooked German destination near the Belgian border. There is a direct train to Aachen from Paris - leave on the 7:55 Thalys from Paris Nord, and you can get there in 2.7 hours. The return trip at 19:23 takes about 10 minutes longer.

Luxembourg: there are direct TGV trains to Luxembourg as well that make the trip in about 2.3 hours, if that's where you want to go. But the city of Luxembourg is in the country of Luxembourg - not Germany.

OP, could you by chance be thinking of a day trip from Paris to Monet's Gardens at Giverney rather than Germany?

All of Rick's TV shows in current release are linked at https://www.ricksteves.com/watch-read-listen/video/tv-show, along with scripts. I think the show on France's Alsace region is a likely candidate for your search, since it has sometimes been part of Germany. See also this related article. Train travel time from Paris to Strasbourg by reserved TGV is now down to 2 hours each way and continuing to Colmar usually requires a connection and 30 minutes more. There are also a couple of direct Paris-Colmar TGVs per day, for instance departing at 9:25 a.m. and arriving before noon, which works fine if you're staying overnight.

Looking Up Train Schedules and Routes Online gives you the Deutsche Bahn train schedule link and tips for using it. This sells some tickets to/from Germany but not those only within France or Luxembourg, which are sold by Voyages-SNCF and their agents.

Thanks for all the responses. I must have the wrong country. I'll check France's Alsace region as that does sound familiar. We have taken a day trip to Monet's Garden and that was perfect.
