Trip is next December, early to mid month. From Rothenburg ob der Tauber, planning to drive to Frankfurt, return our rental car, stay overnight in the city, then take the train to Berlin the next day. Please let me know if these details sound feasible?
- Return rental car at the Airport - seems like the best option for me as I don't like city driving. Hoping getting from Car Return to Airport S-Bahn is easy?
- Take the S-Bahn to Hauptwache - hoping to stay in this area vs staying near the main train station.
- S-Bahn from Hauptwache to Main station the next day for our train to Berlin - easy enough with all our suitcases etc?
Is there anything I need to know that I'm missing?
