We stayed at the Hilton in the airport last time, but the price has gone way up. We like that the airport hotel has that train station below for easy access to the Old Town and also to the Octoberfest grounds. What other good options are there that give us easy access to the trains but also an easy stress free shuttle to the airport before our departure?
Thanks for suggestions as I reseach a few hotel options.

Gasthof Maisberger in Neufahrn is on the S1/S8 train line between downtown and the airport. It's a 50 yard walk from the platform to the hotel. From there, it's just two stops by train to the airport. We had a nice dinner there the night before our flight. Nice rooms, about 97 Euros/night
