Local guide for a genealogy tour of western and southern Germany

I would like to hire a local guide for a family genealogical/heritage trip to western and southern Germany in 2024. Ideally, this person would be a genealogist and/or historian who could also help me book research visits to local archives and churches, provide assistance visiting towns that are definitely not on the usual tourist itinerary, and generally give historical context to myself and my family about the lives of our ancestors in Germany in the 1850s. Does anyone know of any genealogy-focused tour companies, tour guides focused on history, or other forums which I can reach out to? Thank you in advance for the collective wisdom and experience of this Travel Forum!

It would help people if you are a bit more specific in region because the archives are owned and operated on state and community level and therefore the standards how to approach the archives are different.

Some archives of authorities lost material during WW2 but in a lot of cases also regional and local church archives are worth a look and / or a talk.
