I need some confirmation in regards to Linderhof:
1. I just read (not from the official website) that there is a minimum of 15 participants for the English guided tour? Is this true?
Also the Venus Grotto guided tour, is it a continuation from the Palace guided tour or is it a separate scheduled tour?
Does the guided tour price already included in the EUR8.5 admission fee?
Could we enter the Moorish kiosk and Moroccan House?

1) I assume it's true, but Linderhof is a very popular tourist attraction. Rounding up 15 people for an English tour will not be difficult.
1) I don't remember if your entry to the Venus Grotto is timed, like the palace. But... I don't think it is. It's not a direct continuation of the palace tour. Unless I'm remembering wrong, you just walk up the hill to the grotto and wait for the next tour.
2) Yes.
3) No. You can look in through a glass door, but not enter. If you want to walk through something similar, visit Ludwig's Königshaus am Schachen, but you can only reach it by hiking several hours up a mountain. If I'm remembering correctly, the only other building you can enter at Linderhof besides the Schloss and Grotto is Hunding's Hut.
I agree with Tom on #2. After taking the tour of the palace, I walked back to the entrance and said I wanted to sign up for the Grotto tour. They told me their was no sign-up; just go up to the Grotto entrance and wait for the next tour.

thanks so much for the info. noted w/ the grotto and the Moroccan House and Kiosk. If they couldn't be entered, I might see first whether to visit them or not. I'll pass the Hunding Hut at the moment but if the weather is nice and we have the energy going further and have visited other main interests, we might visit it.
btw I don't know why I get the repetitive number (2's no.1). Last time I try to edit it several times, my post was thought as a spam and got banned temporarily >_<
