Limburg, Weilburg, Wetzlar?

I've been reading about the area around Frankfurt when I'm going for a week in June, and all three towns look interesting. Which of them would anyone particularly recommend?

Looking at bahn.de, it looks as if I could get a Hesse Ticket and do all three in a loop from Frankfurt in a day with a couple of hours in each, and then maybe go back to the one that looked most interesting for a whole day. How close are the stations to the interesting bits of the towns?

Or is there anywhere else that would be a nice trip out from Frankfurt (I'm already going to go to Darmstadt for at least two days)?

I don't know Weilburg, and even though I've gone by Limburg countless times, I've yet to stop there. The cathedral looks like it would be the highlight.

Wetzlar, on the other hand, I have visited and it's a very nice town, although it won't take you particularly long to explore. My experience of that town may be slightly colored by the fact that the yearly Hessentag festival was going on the day I visited (I decided to visit on a whim, not even knowing about the festival in advanced). Combine it with a trip to nearby Marburg, which is absolutely stunning.
