Or are you asking about the 3rd party liability coverage? If this, its built in to the rental rate.

In Europe liability insurance is compulsory and included in the rental price. For CDW you can get it through the rental company or a 3rd party provider like Allianz. If your credit card comes with CDW coverage as a benefit, you can use it.

Most companies also some form of personal injury protection.

We have rented cars in the UK and never had to pay the included insurance.
