We are planning a self-guided bike tour around Lake Constance using Radweg-Reisen for our tour. We can't decide between the A and B overnight accomadations related to where they're located. Would either the A or B category be located closer to the bike trail? Thanks much!

A and B refer to the quality/rating of the accommodations, not their proximity to the trail.

I understand that - I just wondered if one of the categories tended to be closer to the trail. Actually the bike tour company answered my question and told me which one was closer.

We've done A both times we used them, but I handpicked our hotels and did get a couple of B the first time we used them to go around lake constance. It was several years ago, but I think i asked them for a list then looked up where they all were and told them my preferences. They were great to work with both times.
Doing that bike tour is one of our absolute best memories over several trips to Europe. Enjoy!!!
edited to add - I should say - I hand picked when we did Lake Constance. I don't think I did that when we biked the Moselle, but wished I had as we did end up with one hotel that was very far up a hill on a very hot day. After that we decided if we did another tour with them we would get electric bikes. All of the hotels we had around Lake Constance were not far off the bike path.
