You didn’t say if you’re driving or taking the trains. Personally we would drive. This is an easy drive taking full advantage of your time. Also not bad for train travel either. Your choice. Here goes:

Frankfurt to Nuremberg 2 nights
Nuremberg to Munich 2 nights
Munich to Augsburg. 1 night
Augsburg to Ulm 1 night
Ulm to Rothenburg 1 night
Rothenburg back to Frankfurt and their market.

Then back home. There is a Motel One right outside the Main train station In Nuremberg. That whole area has many hotels on both sides of the street. You’re feet from the entrance of the main shopping center and Christmas markets. Go to Booking.com. There happens to be Motel Ones in every city listed but Rothenburg. Good Luck

Frankfurt market is great and after a long flight, suggest staying here overnight, visit the market and make your way to other towns the next day. Check out Motel One.
There are so many beautiful markets near Frankfurt, that are frankly, nicer than Nuremburg. Not sure if you are on FB, but people do post their favorites on a page called Christmas Markets and Easter Markets and Nuremburg is not one of them very often. It is too crowded and not very decorative.
Near Frankfurt, you might want to visit Mainz, Wiesbaden, Marburg, Rüdesheim,, Heidelberg, Worms, and depending on the weekend, Bad Homburg, Büdingen, or Idstein. If you do want to go farther, Stuttgart & Esslingen or perhaps Cologne which is very popular with many markets to visit.
