Anyone who is in Nürnberg today or on 3 August and is interested in classical music should not miss the Klassik Open Air in Luitpoldhain, the largest open-air classical music festival in Europe. Simply sit on the grass or on a blanket you have brought with you, unpack your picnic and listen to the music. Today, 21 July, the State Philharmonic Orchestra will be playing, followed on 3 August by the city's other orchestra, the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra. For this concert, you can also vote for your favourite piece on the website. The Luitpoldhain can be reached by public transport from the city centre in 10-15 minutes.
