Kiefersfelden or Oberaudorf

I am a classical/musical theatre singer and I have been accepted to two different summer programs for three weeks in July. One is in Kiefersfelden and the other is Oberaudorf. They’re both amazing programs, but they both take place at the same time so I have to choose one or the other. If you’ve been to either or both cities, please tell me everything you can about them. Even the smallest bits of information will be very helpful in making my decision. Thank you!

Oberaudorf lies 4 km north of Kiefersfelden and is more a holiday location than Kiefersfelden is.

Have stayed in Oberaudorf twice. Once 15+ years ago during Fasching. Nice parade in the evening then and a lot of fun. A sled ride down from Hocheck too. Had a lot of snow that weekend. Stop and go traffic on the Autobahn due to the snow. 2nd time was just prior to Covid in Spring and we actually left a day early as we had nonstop rain. We took a train to Kiefersfelden for something to do. Nice small town. We stopped at a dive cafe/bar for a drink that still smelled like cigarette smoke. You hear Kiefersfelden on German radio for the Stau and trucks backed up on Autobahn 93 at the border. I know nothing about either towns theater, but as a visiter/tourist I would go with Oberaudorf. We did not like the Oxen dinner we had at Hotel Keindl. Stayed at an apartment this summer nearby on the Hintersteiner See. It was beautiful there.
