Please help verify...On Sept 6 I plan to cruise the Rhine. Am I correct to read that Boppard (11 am) arrive Bachach (1330). Return to Boppard (1330) arrive Boppard (1530). I want a leisurely day on the Rhine ... not concerned with time to use train in one direction.

The only problem is that you miss almost all of the castles on the Rhein when you only go as far as Bacharach. This is why people recommend taking the train to either Rüdesheim or Bingen and then taking the ship to St. Goar or Boppard. This is leisurely and you see all of the castles.
