Has anyone been to this festival?

We arrive in Munich on a Saturday afternoon and this event is all day Sunday. My teen son and I like this type of thing! But we would have to give up one of our planned sightseeing days to accommodate this festival. We will be in Munich 5 nights before moving on to Füssen and Salzburg.

Oh that festival looks fun!!! You will have 5 days in Munich....do you have something planned all 5 days? If the festival is something you would enjoy, I say DO IT?
Yes! When we lived in Germany we went every year as part of a large group. It was always a blast! And thank goodness we had a chartered bus, because the beer was free flowing from start to end. This was about 10 years ago. It's kind of a combination midevel fair plus the show at the end. Fabulous displays of horsemanship during the show.
If you decide to go, get tickets early. They sell out.
