Itinerary suggestions appreciated

Thank you for taking a deep breath with me - I've stared at this too long.
Seven nights.
Western Germany, coming from Strasbourg. Doing some genealogy in the Heidelberg area, so figured two days in Heidelberg area, using the trains to get to some of the smaller towns (Ittlingen, Gemmingen, Stebbach).
Two days - blank!
Two days - Rothenburg by request.
Last day - train to Frankfurt, explore, then early flight out the next day.
The two blank days are throwing me. Should we add another day in Heidelberg? Try something along Castle Road? We haven't done other towns on the Romantic Road, and we do like small towns. Architecture, history, stained glass windows, pinball, odd things (biggest ketchup bottle? that's us). Not vineyard/winery but do like good food. We may try for 'best pretzel on the trip.'
Thank you for your ideas.

I would opt for exploring the Castle Road? It heads into direction of Romantic Road.

Bergstrasse is much about vinery which is not your favorite interest - I list it for small villages and architecture.

btw: in Seligenstadt close to Frankfurt you will find a pinball and arcade museum.

Not odd but something very special and weird is the HarlekinÄum in Wiesbaden. I am not sure they re-opened.

Thank you both!
I checked the pinball place - open the first Saturday of the month and looks like fun.
I am off to do more research on the Castle Road!
Thank you.
